right-pic-overview

The Croydon winery and vineyards are run and maintained by the Croydon Wine Company, under the direct, masterful supervision of Beyers Truter and Corius Visser.

Croydon Wines have already attained stellar 4 star ratings in the definitive Platter Wine Guide for the last three years successively – quite an accolade for a relatively young estate. As the Croydon brand gains repute and awareness in the market, the value of the estate will increase, and all homeowners will reap the rewards.

Ultimately homeowners will become shareholders in the Croydon Wine Company, and will thus further benefit from the brand cache built up by Beyers and his team.

In all, there are a total of 7,5 hectares of vineyards already planted on the estate, including Pinotage, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Shiraz and Malbec. These cultivars were specifically chosen to offer all the key ingredients for creating superlative red wine blends - specifically showcasing the Cape Blend that Beyers is most famous for - and to perfectly express the terroir of the estate.

In addition, a small patch of Chenin Blanc has recently been planted for the soon to be released Croydon Title Deed Chenin Blanc label.
